Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Zara.
I'm the founder of Studio Petra, an interior design studio dedicated to creating spaces with purpose and an Irish-Mediterranean soul.
For over 12 years, I've worked within architecture and interior design practices across Spain and Ireland, delivering residential, hospitality and commercial projects from the earliest ideas through to completion.
I founded Studio Petra to offer a more personal and considered approach to design. Every project begins by understanding the people behind the space, combining thoughtful planning, practical solutions and carefully considered details to create interiors that feel calm, cohesive and enduring.
My approach has been shaped by the places I've lived. Denmark taught me the value of simplicity and intelligent use of space. Ireland showed me the importance of warmth, comfort and creating places where people naturally want to spend time. Spain inspires my love for natural light, honest materials and effortless living.
These influences come together in every project, creating interiors that are functional without feeling clinical, elegant without being excessive, and designed to stand the test of time.
